Dr. Noah Tremblay

Everything went as planned and Noah has accomplished his goal of a PhD in Chemistry. Following his marriage to Samantha on October 25th, he will be heading for Baltimore, MD to do his Post-Doc at Johns Hopkins University. It was a great time, and Grammy even got to go. DV8 PLAYING A BENEFIT

Just a quick note to let you know that the "original" DV8 Band (Doug, Deb, Scot & Bruce) will be playing a set this Sat (or Sunday rain date) at Shirley Common. It's a benefit to raise money to keep the Old Town Hall open and running, as it's used by many of the town's non profit groups, such as Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts. We'll be going on later in the afternoon - probably around 6:00 or 6:30 - but come on out and check out the other bands and spend a nice afternoon for a great cause.

Sad News

Some of you already know that we have lost our cousin Tommy. He passed away on Friday surrounded by his family. Tag has e-mailed me with the news that there will not be any service, that was Tom's wishes. He is going to be cremated and his family will be scattering his ashes in Gloucester, a place that he loved to be. It is hard to see someone leave us at such a young age, he was only 55. Please keep his family in your thoughts and prayers. And remember all the good times you had with cousin Tommy. Nothing else really matters except the good memories.
