As most of you know by now, Matthew defended his thesis on July 24th and earned his PhD in Chemistry at Columbia University. It goes without saying, that we are all very proud of him. To celebrate his achievement, and to wish him well as he heads out to San Diego for 3 years, we are having a party on September 8th from 1pm to 9pm at our house, 76 West St, Pepperell. We would love to have you all join us. I know there are some people who won't be able to make it because they are going to see Jimmy Buffit that day (Rick, Laurie, Marianne and Brown). Have fun you guys-you will be missed.
